Privacy policy

This site respects your privacy and Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law 13.709/2018). This policy explains what is collected, why, and how to exercise your rights. Last updated: October 5, 2026.

What this site collects

Audience measurement (Matomo)

Every visit is measured in aggregate, anonymously and without cookies, by Matomo on a self-hosted server. Page views, referrer, device type and IP (truncated and anonymized) are counted, without identifying you across visits. The legal basis is legitimate interest in understanding the audience of published content.

Google Analytics 4 (with consent only)

Google Analytics 4 only loads after you allow cookies in the notice shown on your first visit. With permission, Google receives page views, referrer and device data, and may set the _ga cookies in your browser. Advertising uses (ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization) are always denied. If you decline, Google Analytics does not load.

Comments

When you comment, you provide your name, e-mail and, optionally, website. The WordPress also records the IP and browser used, as spam protection. Your e-mail is never displayed on the site.

Hosting logs

The hosting provider (20i) logs IP, requested URL and browser on every request, for the security and operation of the service.

Preferences in your browser

Your cookie choice (fs-consent), light/dark theme (fs-theme) and list/grid view (fs-index-view) stay in your browser only, via localStorage, and are never sent to the server. The pll_language cookie stores the chosen language (functional).

What this site does not do

  • Does not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising.
  • Does not store visitor information in its own database or files on the server.
  • Does not load any analytics for accounts logged into the site.

Your data, your choices

  • Decline cookies: the “Continuar sem cookies” choice in the notice, or the “Preferências de cookies” button in the footer of every page, keeps the site working with the anonymous, cookie-free measurement only. Declining from the footer also deletes existing _ga cookies.
  • Privacy-signaling browsers: if your browser enables Global Privacy Control (GPC), the site treats it as a refusal and does not even show the notice.
  • Withdraw consent: at any time, via the “Preferências de cookies” button in the footer.

Retention

Audience measurement (Matomo and Google Analytics) keeps data for the period configured in each tool. Comments remain published as long as the content they belong to exists, unless removal is requested.

Your rights (LGPD, art. 18)

You may request confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary data, portability, information about sharing, review of automated decisions, and withdrawal of consent. To exercise these rights, write to falecom@fellipesoares.com.br. You may also complain to the Brazilian National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).
